Famous retired Yankees star Derek Jeter announced the birth of his first son in a Twitter post Monday morning.

“Welcome to the world lil man!!” he tweeted. Jeter did not share an image of his newborn baby — instead, he posted a caption on top of a black background in lieu of an image. “Kaius Green Jeter 5-5-23,” he wrote.

Jeter tagged his wife, Hannah, in the post.

Jeter, 48, and Hannah, 33, share daughters Bella Raine, 5; Story Grey, 4 and River Rose, 1.

The busy dad took a moment to update his Instagram bio to read “Sleep-deprived father of four,” and many fans commented on his status to say that was a very relatable feeling. (RELATED: Rumer Willis Welcomes Baby Girl)

The Jeter family has been notoriously low-key in front of the media and have kept their relationship and family details out of the press. They had not previously announced Hannah was pregnant.

Jeter’s Tweet has already been viewed more than 255,000 times within the first hour of being posted.
