Netflix dropped the trailer for “Bird Box Barcelona,” the sequel to the hit post-apocalypse flick “Bird Box,” on Monday and it looks freaking incredible.

The first “Bird Box” movie was released in 2018, and starred Sandra Bullock, Sarah Paulson, John Malkovich, Machine Gun Kelly, and a whole host of other huge talents. The story followed Bullock’s character as she and two children attempted to survive the horrific takeover by a mysterious dark force that made anyone who saw it kill themselves. We never learned what that dark force was, but the sequel movie shows it has migrated to Spain and the beautiful city of Barcelona.

The sequel follows the lead character of Sebastian (played by Mario Casas) as he navigates his own journey through the sprawling city while evil descends upon the population, according to the trailer description. But it’s the trailer itself that will grip you, take your breath away, and have you extremely excited for this terrifying new film.

In one horrifying scene, these creatures manipulate seemingly countless people to walk onto a subway track while the train approaches. In another, we learn that these creatures are changing, evolving from those who destroyed America. (RELATED: There’s No Way You Can Watch This Trailer Without Sending Your Pulse Through The Roof)
