A Maryland school district has opted to close its school board meeting to the public amid protests against LGBT curricula, according to National Review.
This is a very woke school board that purports to care about minorities while also shutting out a racially diverse group of parents who are calling for the ability to opt their children out of sexually explicit lessons. The district is citing “safety reasons” for limiting public access.
Three families filed a lawsuit against the district last month, claiming that the gender and sexuality lessons are a violation of their First Amendment religious rights.
