President Joe Biden’s dog Commander sent a Secret Service officer to the hospital and bit six other individuals, new records show.

The most serious incident involving the presidential dog happened Nov. 3, 2022, with Commander biting the Secret Service Uniformed Division officer on the arm and thigh while they were stationed at their post. The officer was then transported to a local hospital, records obtained by Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) show.

The FOIA request produced 194 pages involving reports related to Commander having incidents of aggression. One email from a Secret Service officer on Nov. 5 says, “if it wasn’t their dog it would have already been put down.”

An Oct. 26 email from a Secret Service officer reads, “Recently, Commander has been exhibiting extremely aggressive behavior. Today; while posted, he came charging at me. The First Lady couldn’t regain control of commander and he continued to circle me. I believe it’s only a matter of time before an agent/officer is attacked or bit. He would have bit me today if I didn’t step towards him a couple different times. It was bad enough that the agent on the detail asked if I got bit- just so you’re aware.”

Other biting episodes include Commander biting a Secret Service officer on Oct. 3 in the Rose Garden, biting an ERT Officer on Oct. 5 on the “arm/ wrist area,” biting Secret Service officers in the Rose Garden on Nov. 10 and Dec. 11, Dec. 16 while walking from post to post, by a White House door on Dec. 24.

“This evening [redacted] took Commander outside for his usual dog walk through the Rose Garden. As Commander moved through the Palm Room doors, he inflicted a ‘friendly soft bite’ on SA [redacted] forearm as [redacted] held the door open. Afterwards, SA [redacted’ told SA (Whip) that no skin was broken from the bite and [redacted] business suit was not ripped in any way,” the Oct. 3 record reads.

On Dec. 24, A Secret Service officer wrote, “The dog bite issue came up again today. Please see the attached email chain written last evening. Apparently, Officer- was bitten while posted at. yesterday. Nearly every official in the room with me today spoke up about specific incidents surrounding the First Family’s dog.”

Commander also “bit/latched” onto another Secret Service officer’s back while at the Biden lake house in Wilmington, Delaware.

The previously unreported attacks by the president’s dog come after Biden’s last dog, Major, was removed for similar behavior. (RELATED: White House Downplayed The Extent To Which American Patriot And World’s Greatest Dog Major Was Biting Officials Around The Biden Admin)
