Yale University is being accused of misinforming students about alcohol by falsely claiming that non-binary people metabolize alcohol differently than cisgender people, according to video footage obtained by evolutionary biologist Colin Wright.

The video, which appears to be a course on drugs and alcohol for incoming Yale students, claims that men metabolize alcohol at higher rates regardless of their weight and size compared to women. It also claims that non-binary people might metabolize this differently.

Nope. Non-binary people metabolize alcohol like any other human. If they’re boys they metabolize alcohol like boys and if they’re girls they metabolize alcohol like girls. There are some things you just can’t change.
