Celebrity restaurateur Guy Fieri revealed plans on Wednesday to host a 15-course Maui fundraiser to raise funds for those affected by the Maui wildfires.

The Guy Fieri Foundation announced in a post on Instagram that it will be hosting a fundraiser called the Chefs for Maui Fundraiser in Sonoma County, California on Oct. 21 with more than 20 celebrity chefs expected to be involved. Fieri told People that people need to “do what we can” to help the people affected by the Maui wildfires, the outlet reported Thursday.

“I’ve shot over 16 locations in Maui for my shows, and I travel to Maui with my family year after year for vacation,” Fieri told People. “It is such a special place, and what makes it special are the people.”

“To think of those people that love their island, and love their families, and make visitors feel welcome, we need to stop what we’re doing and do what we can to help them,” Fieri said, per the outlet. (RELATED: Mariah Casillas Raises $10,000 Selling Nudes For Hawaii Wildfire Relief: REPORT)

The event with Fieri and more than 20 other chefs will feature live music, chef interactions and auctions, with the donations helping to provide fire-stricken communities with the relief supplies they need. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the Foodservice Workers of Maui and the Salvation Army’s Hawaiian & Pacific Islands Division.

Fieri told the outlet that he reached out to his “chef friends and within five minutes, a handful of them were on board” with the fundraiser.

“Within two days I was getting messages that these chefs were canceling other projects and commitments to help support,” Fieri told People. “It’s going to be an unprecedented culinary gathering to help support the people of Maui.”

Tickets for the fundraiser start at $2,500 with VIP tickets being $5,000, according to the foundation’s event page. For those who are unable to attend, they are able to provide a donation of any choice.
