Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom will debate Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Nov. 30 in a forum hosted by Fox News’ Sean Hannity, according to a press release from Fox.
The debate will take place in Georgia and will last 90 minutes, according to Fox News.
“I’m looking forward to providing viewers with an informative debate about the everyday issues and governing philosophies that impact the lives of every American,” Hannity said.

DeSantis accepted Hannity’s offer to debate in August, weeks after Newsom agreed to participate in the hypothetical matchup. (RELATED: DeSantis/Newsom Debate’s Proposed Rules Released, Governor’s Spox Calls Them ‘A Joke’)
“I’m game. Let’s get it done, tell me when and where, we’ll do it,” DeSantis told Hannity in August. “People have been voting … with their feet. They have fled California in record numbers. Florida has been the number one state for net in migration. We have the number one ranked economy, number one now in education, crime rate at a 50-year low.”
Newsom, for his part, agreed to do a debate back in June during a Fox interview, saying he would need just “one day’s notice” and “no notes.”
