Warner Bros. Pictures dropped the trailer for Kevin Costner’s two-part “theatrical event” called “Horizon” on Thursday, and damn … it looks good.

The 40-second teaser is one of the simplest things I’ve seen. But wow, does it pack a punch. We’re first taken over the gorgeous landscape of western America, chasing Costner as he goes full pelt on horseback, guns a-blazin’.

“Spanning the four years of the Civil War, from 1861 to 1865, Costner’s ambitious cinematic adventure will take audiences on an emotional journey across a country at war with itself, experienced through the lens of families, friends and foes all attempting to discover what it truly means to be the United States of America,” the synopsis states, according to ABC News.

Not only does the series look really well made, but it is stacked full of huge names. Sienna Miller gets second billing under Costner, closely followed by Sam Worthington, Will Patton and a whole host of others who I can’t wait to see in character.

But even with “Horizon” hitting the big screens in June and August 2024, we still really need a conclusion to “Yellowstone.” With just a handful of episodes left in the balance, Costner really owes it to his fans to close out the series. I honestly think if he bails on the show entirely, We The People will turn against him and ensure “Horizon” is a massive flop; one that could cast a shadow over the rest of his career.
