“Fox & Friends'” Brian Kilmeade slammed President Joe Biden’s response to a question regarding a ceasefire in Israel on Tuesday.

During an event Monday with Commerce Sec. Gina Raimondo, a reporter asked Biden if he would support a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas terrorists if the terrorists would release the hostages.

Biden became confused and first called for a ceasefire before walking it back. “We should have a ceasefire. Not a ceasefire. We should have the hostages released.”

Kilmeade took aim at Biden for walking away from reporters. (RELATED: First Lady Ushers Confused Biden Off Stage)

“Does he understand that he’s president of the United States? He’s cast aside these statements, walking away, the backs to the press, never answers a question directly, shouts it while he’s walking up the steps. This is somebody that has 50 years experience! Now, he’s finally president of the United States. He knows his words matter! Are you for a cease-fire? Are we waiting for hostages? Are we not waiting for hostages? How many hostages do we have? Oh, by the way, I’m going to make a huge statement while walking away off mic! Stand there, answer the question or don’t!”

Co-host Steve Doocy then chimed in to argue Biden “screwed up the message.”

“Obviously the U.S. government has a policy, and it’s a no ceasefire. But [Biden] said, ‘We should have a cease-fire, no, not a cease-fire.’ He just blew it! That’s the problem, and unfortunately, the whole world is looking at him, and he screwed up his own message.”

Kilmeade then added it is “insulting” to the press to not take questions.

Biden gave a rare Oval Office address in which he pledged support for Israel while also expressing concern for innocent civilians who remain in Gaza.
