A 27-year-old man was charged with grand larceny and burglary in Nevada after she allegedly stole from a man in his 50s over the weekend.
A man had reportedly paid Hailey McNally a sum of $2,500 for her company, and their weekend plans included attending a U2 concert in Las Vegas. He met McNally through the online dating website called Seeking Arrangement, as reported by 8 News Now. However, the encounter quickly spiraled into a heist.
During the U2 concert, McNally made her escape, using a bathroom break as her opportunity to leave her date behind. She then allegedly pilfered a substantial amount from his safe at Caesars Palace, walking away with $50,000 in cash and an additional $7,000 in poker chips, as detailed by the local news outlet. Authorities apprehended and charged McNally with grand larceny and burglary, as per information provided in police documents.

The victim, in his report to the police, mentioned that discussions of sexual activity had occurred but never transpired. Their in-person meeting took place Oct. 13, with the victim providing financial compensation to McNally. Their activities included a visit to a pool and dinner, during which he indulged in excessive drinking. McNally assisted him to his residence and saw him to bed before departing for the night, according to the police report obtained by the local news source. The following day, the pair reconnected while the man was gambling with friends. He supplied her with an additional $400, which she reportedly transformed into approximately $3,100 through gambling. McNally then purportedly learned the passcode for the safe after requesting to place her purse inside it.
Quick police work, with the help of surveillance footage, resulted in McNally’s immediate arrest. During questioning, she claimed that the victim had behaved inappropriately, describing him as “sexually aggressive.” However, she denied any involvement in the theft. Police discovered $11,700 in cash and $5,200 worth of poker chips in her possession, according to the report.
McNally was subsequently released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court on November 22.
