A Pennsylvania resident who says he voted for Democratic Sen. John Fetterman was tossed out of an event after he confronted the Senator for not supporting a cease-fire in Israel.

Dan Kovalik tweeted the exchange with the caption “I just took on @JohnFetterman for his failure to support a ceasefire for #Gaza and was assaulted. Come see the violence inherent in the system.”

“Can I ask you something? Why aren’t you supporting a humanitarian ceasefire?” Kovalik asked.

An individual off-screen appeared to confront Kovalik for his question, with Kovalik responding that he can “talk” to the Senator about whatever he wants because he “voted for him.”

“This is a democracy,” Kovalik said, with the individual off screen saying “it absolutely is.”

“10,000 people in Gaza have been killed, half are children, the Pope’s calling for a ceasefire, the UN has called for a ceasefire, I’m just asking, you’re a good guy, I’ve voted for ya, I know you’re a nice guy, this is important–” (RELATED: ‘Truly Disturbing’: John Fetterman Claps Back At Far-Left Lawmakers Who Blamed Israel For Hospital Strike)

“You need to leave,” someone said as Kovalik was suddenly pushed away from the Senator and out of the venue.

“Because I asked the Senator a question?” Kovalik asked as he was shoved backwards out the door.

The person filming the incident then alleged the individual who forcibly removed Kovalik “assaulted” him.

It is unclear whether the individual who removed the Senator worked for Fetterman or was simply a fellow Pennsylvanian. The Daily Caller has reached out to Fetterman’s team for more information.

Kovalik later tweeted that he had paid for a ticket to the event.

Fetterman has unequivocally supported Israel after Hamas terrorists launched a deadly surprise attack on the Jewish State on Oct. 7. Fetterman said “the United States has a moral obligation to be in lockstep with our ally as they confront this threat.” Fetterman also criticized his fellow Democratic lawmakers for taking the word of Hamas terrorists who falsely claimed that Israel targeted a Gaza hospital with an airstrike.
