Samuel Haskell Jr., the son of Hollywood agent Samuel Haskell Sr., has been charged with the murder of his wife and in-laws, TMZ reports.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced Haskell Jr. is charged with three counts of murder in the death of his wife, Mei Li Haskell, and her parents, 72-year-old Gaoshan Li and 64-year-old Yanxiang Wang, TMZ reported. He faces life in prison without parole if he is found guilty on all charges.

A homeless man located a dismembered human torso in a garbage bin in Encino, California, on Wednesday, which triggered a police investigation. Video footage initially emerged showing workers allegedly arriving at Haskell Jr.’s home and carrying out large garbage bags, which were then put into a truck, according to TMZ.

The workers reportedly said they were told the bags contained rocks. However, the workers grew suspicious and looked inside one of the bags, which led them to discover human remains, per TMZ. They reportedly gave the bags back to Haskell Jr. and called the police.

Haskell Jr. allegedly proceeded to dispose of the bodies on his own. Video footage shows him allegedly dumping what appears to be a heavy garbage bag into a dumpster, where the homeless man eventually located the human torso, according to TMZ.

A judge denied Haskell Jr. bail Monday, but permitted the delay of his arraignment at the request of his attorney. Haskell Jr. will be formally charged Dec. 8, CNN reported. (RELATED: REPORT: Prominent Attorney Charged With Murder Of Wife And Child)
