This Walmart location is notably the same one where John Crawford III was fatally shot by a Beavercreek officer in 2014 while holding a pellet gun. The city of Beavercreek settled a wrongful death lawsuit with Crawford’s family for $1.7 million, along with agreeing to implement police policy changes, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
