Def Leppard Makes Major Announcement

Rock band Def Leppard announced they will be co-headlining a 2024 tour with some help from some very famous friends.

The band took to social media on Thursday to share their big news. They will be sharing the stage with Cheap Trick, Heart and the Steve Miller Band for an epic tour that kicks off July 6. The famous rockers will embark on a 23-city tour that fans were already raving about, mere hours after the announcement was made.

“JUST ANNOUNCED!!! Def Leppard and @journeyofficial are teaming up to rock 2024 with @stevemillerband, @heartofficial, and @cheaptrick! ” the band wrote to Instagram. “Rock Brigade Concert Club members get exclusive first access to pre-sale tickets and VIP Packages on Tuesday, December 12 (10am).”

Fans looking for general tickets can get them as early as Dec. 15, with a special pre-fan sale taking place Dec. 12.  Tour details and additional information about ticket sales are available on Def Leppard’s website.

Classic rock fans can catch the multi-band concert in 23 cities, including St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Orlando, Atlanta, Nashville, Boston, Toronto, New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The tour ends Sept. 8 in Denver, Colorado.

The Steve Miller Band will be featured in the majority of the shows, while Heart will be joining Def Leppard for just three dates. Fans hoping to catch Cheap Trick will want to purchase tickets for the very beginning or the very end of the tour. Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott said the band’s set will be designed to feature specific parts of their legendary history as a group. “We may even have a surprise or two up our sleeves,” he said, according to USA Today.
