A gruesome video shows a group of people vomiting blood after ingesting dry ice at an Indian restaurant.
The wild scene was captured on camera and showed five diners at Laforestta Cafe in the city of Gurugram with blood pouring out of their mouths. The restaurant patrons were reportedly told that they were given mouth freshener, but they were actually served dry ice, according to a video posted to Instagram, Wednesday, by Nehu Sabharwal, one of the victims in this incident. The video showed people screaming in pain, and wide-eyed in shock as they threw up blood all over the floor.

Local reports said a waiter came to the table with what the establishment informed the guests was a sugar and ice palate cleanser, but things quickly took a turn, as it became clear there was a serious problem when they all began to bleed and vomit in painfully, according to TMZ.
There was a sheer look of horror on the faces of those affected in the video as they tried to make sense of the situation but were in too much pain to speak.
The guests were taken to the hospital and were in intensive care for two days while they recovered from the terrible ordeal, the outlet reported. The manager of the restaurant was reportedly arrested, and the police are on the lookout for the owner who is believed to be on the lam.
Sabharwal posted the video of her traumatic experience to social media, alongside a caption explaining what she experienced that day.
“It happened with me and my friends. Five out of six members started blood vomit after eating mouth freshner [sic] after our meal in Gurugram sector -90 at la foresta cafe . I was admitted in ICU,” she wrote to Instagram.

“Now discharge. What happened with me should never happen with any one,” she continued.
“Senior doctor told it was DRY ICE WHICH WE CONSUMED and it’s life threatening,” Sabharwal wrote.
She attempted to raise awareness to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

All the victims of this incident are in stable condition, according to TMZ. The manager reportedly said the staff somehow used the dry ice in error, and claimed it was accidental.
