Jessica Medeiros-Garrison serves as Executive Director of the Republican Attorneys General Association, President of the Rule of Law Defense Fund and is Of Counsel to the law firm of Balch &amp; Bingham, LLP.<br /> <br /> She graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in 1997 and from the University of Alabama School of Law with a Juris Doctor in December, 2000. She was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in April, 2001 and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama, in May, 2001.<br /> <br /> As an undergraduate at the University of Alabama, Jessica served as President of the Student Government Association. Prior to attending law school she served with former State of Alabama Attorney General Jeff Sessions (currently United States Senator) and as Director of Public Relations and Legislative Affairs for former Attorney General Bill Pryor (currently US Court of Appeals Judge, 11th Circuit). She also served as law clerk for former Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court Judge L. Scott Coogler (currently US District Court Judge). In 1998 she joined the law firm of Phelps, Jenkins, Gibson &amp; Fowler, L.L.P in Tuscaloosa, where she earned a partnership. She went on to successfully manage the 2010 Luther Strange campaign for Attorney General and later serve as Chief Counsel and Deputy Attorney General in the 2011 administration of Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange.<br /> <br /> Jessica previously served on the Board of Directors for the Business Council of Alabama, the ProgressPac, the Farrah Alumni Law Society, the Druid City Hospital (DCH) Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of West Alabama (former Chairperson), the United Way of West Alabama, Kid One Transport System, and other community organizations. She currently maintains her membership in the Birmingham Bar Association, and Alabama Bar Association. She is a member of the Leadership Tuscaloosa Class of 2001-02, Leadership Alabama Class of 2008-09 and the Birmingham Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 Class of 2013.
