Aid to Haiti still missing

“It is now six days since the earthquake that devastated Port-au-Prince and there is still no sign of the global aid effort reaching the main camp of homeless Haitian people in the Champs de Mars public park next to the ruined presidential palace in the very centre of the capital city.

What is needed there is a massive, fixed water supply and a food distribution point. They urgently need a triage clinic to assess the wounded, because now the city is entering the stage of a huge risk of infection and disease.
