The parents of a 5-year-old boy who accidentally shot a Mountain Home, Idaho, teen Wednesday afternoon could face felony child endangerment charges, police said. The boy was playing with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun and shot a 16-year-old boy who was walking to lunch with a group of friends around 11 a.m.

The teen was in serious condition Wednesday when he was taken by air ambulance to a Boise hospital, said Mountain Home police Sgt. Rick Viola.
