A man and a teenage boy who called police claiming they were being chased were arrested and charged with burglary, Round Lake Beach police said Friday.
Officer Paul Grace said police received a call Wednesday about 11:50 p.m. from the pair, who said they were being chased by someone near Cedar Lake Road and Evergreen Drive.
About the same time, police received a call from a man who reported his vehicle was burglarized moments earlier by two people on the 400 block of Meadowgreen Lane.
