Three Atlanta-based companies are among the 100 most valuable global brands, according to a study by Kantar Retail and BrandZ.
The Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE: KO) was ranked the No. 5 most-valuable brand and was the highest ranked beverage brand. It’s brand value was estimated $69 billion, down 1 percent from 2009.
The study placed United Parcel Service Inc. (NYSE: UPS) at No. 16, with a brand value of $26.5 billion, down 5 percent from 2009.
The Home Depot Inc. (NYSE: HD) landed at No. 81 on the list, with a brand value that dropped 3 percent to $9 billion.
