House Democrats rejected President Obama’s deal with Republicans to extend Bush-era tax cuts as a giveaway to the wealthy and threatened to kill their own president’s proposal unless he agrees to alter it.
Denouncing the deal and harshly criticizing Obama during a closed-door caucus meeting, angry lawmakers chanted “Just say no!” then voted to reject the proposal he announced at the White House Monday to extend tax breaks to all income levels, reduce the estate tax and provide another 13 months of jobless benefits.

The frustration with President Barack Obama over his tax cut compromise was palpable and even profane at Thursday’s House Democratic Caucus meeting.
One unidentified lawmaker went so far as to mutter “f— the president” while Rep. Shelley Berkley was defending the package the president negotiated with Republicans. Berkley confirmed the incident, although she declined to name the specific lawmaker.
“It wasn’t loud,” the Nevada Democrat said. “It was just expressing frustration from a very frustrated Member.”
Make that a very frustrated racist!
If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the last two years, it’s that dissenting against Obama is racist. It’s disappointing that these racist Democrats in Congress are so racist, but that’s to be expected from a bunch of racists. Also: racism.
