The Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg could slowly but surely be breaking free of his nerd typecast.

The Academy Award nominee, who portrays a socially uncomfortable individual in Adventureland, Zombieland, and The Social Network, will play a sex-obsessed pizza delivery man in the upcoming summer movie 30 Minutes or Less. Eisenberg’s character is good friends with that of Parks and Recreation actor Aziz Ansari, who plays a schoolteacher whose twin sister Eisenberg has slept with. Ansari’s character is livid when he learns this, but quickly comes to his close friend’s rescue when Eisenberg has a bomb strapped to his chest by thugs played by Danny McBride and Nick Swardson.

A panicked Eisenberg rushes to Ansari’s classroom to explain the crisis.

“We gotta talk,” Eisenberg says.

“We have nothing left to say to each other,” Ansari responds.

“Two guys in masks dropped me and strapped a bomb to my chest and now I have less than nine hours to rob a bank,” Eisenberg explains, whimpering.

“Is that thing real?” Ansari asks, incredulous at the bomb. “And your first thought was to come to a school filled with children?!”

The outlaws force Eisenberg and Ansari to rob a bank, a much different task for one of Eisenberg’s characters to tackle. The trailer, which is for mature audiences only, can be found here.
