Via Andrew Roth — VP of Government Affairs for Club for Growth — comes word that: “After reviewing the newly amended language in the Budget Control Act of 2011, the Club for Growth has withdrawn its key vote against the new Boehner Plan.”
The Club opposed the original Boehner bill, urging their members to vote against it, and warning that the vote would be included in the group’s 2011 Congressional Scorecard.
It may be a moot point now, but this definitely increases the odds the Boehner plan will pass the House.
