“I was waiting to say, ‘you really like my hair,'” Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon joked on Live with Kelly as she flaunted her new shaved hairdo.
The 45-year-old actress chopped off her blonde locks for her theater role as a cancer patient in the Broadway play “Wit.”
Kelly Ripa and her guest host Mary J. Blige were “shocked” to see her new look.
Nixon admits that she thought having no hair would be a breeze, “no muss, no fuss,” she said. However, she has found that it’s still not hassle-free, because she has to shave her head every day.
After the play’s three month run, Nixon says she has plans to grow it all back.
