Ferris Bueller isn’t jetting around Chicago in a red, vintage Ferrari anymore. Instead, he’s roaming Los Angeles in a red Honda CR-V.
Matthew Broderick’s full-length Super Bowl commercial debuted online Monday, after a 10-second teaser got the Internet buzzing late last week about what the ad was for. (RELATED: ‘Ferris Bueller’ is back [VIDEO])
The commercial pays homage to the plot of the classic “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.” This time, Broderick is faking an illness to take a day off from filming, instead of skipping class.
This day off just doesn’t seem as cool without the Ferrari.
