On March 21, 2010, the House of Representatives passed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, known more colloquially — now and forever — as Obamacare. The vote was 219-212, with 34 Democrats and all 178 Republicans voting against it. On March 23, Obama signed it into law.
You may have noticed that Obama has stopped bragging about the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act Obamacare, or even bringing it up if he doesn’t have to. You get the feeling he’d prefer if nobody noted the anniversary at all. It’s a cruel way to treat a two-year-old whose birth he and his fellow Dems celebrated so joyously, isn’t it?
