Stephen A. Smith, host of ESPN’s “First Take,” tweeted his shock Monday about a story The Onion published. It was about him. And he thought it was real.
Smith is known for his on-air rants, and the story was a satire showing him finally having the “sex argument” with his fictional 9-year-old son.
His comical tirade, spanning multiple tweets, finally came to a close when he learned what The Onion is all about: “I didn’t know it was on Satire! Got it. Peeps got jokes. It’s cool!”
Smith later deleted the tweets showing his cluelessness about “America’s Finest News Source.”
