British Prime Minister David Cameron, speaking at the World Economic Forum, clarified his nation’s role in regards to the current situation in Mali. Britain will provide logistical support to the French forces in the form of C-17 cargo aircraft and will provide training to African nations as they seek to quell the tensions and violence. However, he categorically ruled out the sending of British combat troops.
