What if Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck had been able to prevent the meteorite explosion over Russia? That’s pretty much what happened in Michael Bay’s 1998 classic film “Armageddon,” where the dire circumstances were much more melodramatic and Aerosmith-adjacent.

In the film, oil riggers and mortal enemies Willis and Affleck must join forces with NASA in order to save the world from an inevitable asteroid.

Let us not forget that this is when Aerosmith’s, “Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” was introduced into our lives. Thank you, Michael Bay and Steven Tyler.
