I don’t remember the last time the depilated proboscis monkey known as Bill Maher said something funny. I don’t even remember the first time. But just now he almost — almost — made me laugh.

Maher: “Rich people… actually do pay the freight in this country. I just saw these statistics. I mean, something like 70 percent. And here in California, I just want to say: Liberals, you could actually lose me. It’s outrageous what we’re paying. Over 50 percent. I’m willing to pay my share, but yeah, it’s ridiculous.”
Wow. It sure got quiet in there all of a sudden, didn’t it?
Yeah, the taxes these days are almost as ridiculous as the left’s attempts to shut people up about taxes. That must be why Maher donated $1 million smackeroonies to Obama’s campaign. Because Obama is against higher taxes, and demonizing success, and all that stuff. Good job, Bill!
I’m glad he waited until after the election to come out with this, or he might’ve had to treat Romney like a human being.
