Lil Wayne stepped all over the American flag during the filming of his “God Bless Amerika” music video.
Someone uploaded cell phone footage to YouTube Sunday of Lil Wayne rapping in front of a large American flag. In the middle of the song, the flag is lowered to the ground. It is difficult to determine whether the flag was purposefully lowered, or if it fell.
Either way, Lil Wayne continued rapping and walking back and forth on the flag.
As TMZ points out, the rapper sings in the song: “My country ’tis of thee / Sweet land of kill ’em all and let ’em die / God bless America / This ole’ godless America.”
