Remember Benghazi? The “spontaneous attack” triggered by an “awful Internet video”? The first U.S. ambassador to be killed in the line of duty in 33 years? Yeah, that one.
The Lead with Jake Tapper reports:
CNN has uncovered exclusive new information about what is allegedly happening at the CIA, in the wake of the deadly Benghazi terror attack…
Sources now tell CNN dozens of people working for the CIA were on the ground that night, and that the agency is going to great lengths to make sure whatever it was doing, remains a secret.
CNN has learned the CIA is involved in what one source calls an unprecedented attempt to keep the spy agency’s Benghazi secrets from ever leaking out.
Since January, some CIA operatives involved in the agency’s missions in Libya, have been subjected to frequent, even monthly polygraph examinations, according to a source with deep inside knowledge of the agency’s workings.
The goal of the questioning, according to sources, is to find out if anyone is talking to the media or Congress.
Patrick Howley has more on these intimidation tactics.
Why are they going to such great lengths to keep anybody from talking about Benghazi? I mean, we already nabbed the “Innocence of Muslims” guy, didn’t we?
He’s the one responsible for the whole thing, right? So, why the cover-up?
As Twitchy points out, Jake Tapper remembers some other things the Obama administration and Hillary Clinton would rather he didn’t:
Recall H Clinton answer when Sen Paul asked about gun-running: "you’ll have to direct that question to the agency that ran the annex."

But remember: This is all a “phony scandal.”
Update: Burge sums it up, as he tends to do.
Oh, Benghazi was prompted by a secret US operation to funnel weapons to Al Qaeda? No prob, then http://t.co/5Oa35PSWD4 #PhonyScandal

So the CIA is giving agents lie detector tests to make sure agents aren't telling the truth. MIND=BLOWN
