Syrian rebels, locked in a war of attrition with President Bashar Assad’s forces have had to rely on their ingenuity. This has meant cannibalizing and jerry rigging what ever they can to make weapons.
The latest invention is the “Hell Fire” — a homemade mortar that launches fin-stabilized propane canisters with a modicum of success. MacGyver would be proud.
