Cardinals safety Rashad Johnson had a bit of a tough game against the Saints on Sunday. Injuries are par for the course in football, however Johnson may have one-upped your regular dust-up.
According to a tweet from reporter Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic, after a rough hit, Johnson took off his glove to discover that the top of his middle finger was still in it.
Johnson’s bone was exposed, so there’s a risk of infection. He had surgery late Sunday night, reports Bleach Report. No word on how long he will be out, or if the finger was successfully reattached.
