CBS pulled Rihanna’s “Run This Town” from its “Thursday Night Football” introduction last week amid the Ray Rice scandal, and now that the network is trying to “slide” the song back in for week three, Rihanna is telling the network exactly how she feels.
CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday? NO, Fuck you! Y’all are sad for penalizing me for this.

The network reportedly pulled her song with Jay Z, which would play in the background during highlights, after Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was suspended over a video of him knocking his fiancee out cold in an hotel elevator surfaced. Rihanna’s song was pulled in addition to a comedy segment because CBS said it wanted to keep “an appropriate tone and coverage.” The network instead aired domestic violence coverage. However, Rihanna, a known victim of domestic violence from her relationship with singer Chris Brown, is not pleased that the network is now ready to put her song back in the introduction.
CBS has made no comments regarding Rihanna’s claims. (RELATED: Ray Rice Cut From EA Madden ’15)
