How does a Washington, D.C. publicist possibly represent both Breitbart News and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calf.) in the same breath?

Your name is Kurt Bardella, that’s how.

As some may recall, after Politico wiped the floor with Bardella in 2011 when he sneaked email exchanges he had with Capitol Hill reporters to NYT‘s Mark Leibovich for This Town, he turned around and wrote opinion pieces for the suburban Virginia publication. The impossible becomes possible when you’re Kurt Bardella.

And today, we have his doppelgänger: It’s Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Bardella’s roots are actually Korean — as a baby he turned up on a church doorstep in Seoul, South Korea. A couple in Rochester, N.Y. later adopted him.

(Go figure: Bardella is also a previous publicist for The Daily Caller. This was after Issa fired him. He later naturally resumed working for him.)
