Washington Capitals left winger Alex Ovechkin broke the net cam on a power-play goal in the first period of the Capitals 5-4 loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night.
This was Ovechkin’s 27th goal of the season and second of the game as he scored about 12 minutes earlier.

After the goal, the referee had to pick up the fragments of the camera that were on the ice.
