An Indiana woman has gotten hard time for ripping a man’s scrotum wide open.
A Deleware District Court judge sentenced Christina Reber, 46, to two years of incarceration followed by two years of prison Monday for the March 2012 attack on her ex-boyfriend, the Smoking Gun reports.
Reber’s tumultuous relationship turned violent when she stormed into the unnamed victim’s house and began slapping him in the face. According to a police report, Reber screamed at him to call the police before grabbing his scrotum. She squeezed it and refused to let go.
The man was finally able to pry Reber’s hands off his scrotum but not before she ripped it open and separated part of it from his body.
The victim needed stitches and reconstructive surgery.
Reber was convicted of battery resulting in serious bodily injury, something a judge called “an extraordinarily heinous injury” that “changed the victim’s life,” the Indianapolis Star reports.
The judge also took issue with Reber not helping the victim get medical assistance.
“You walked out the door and you left him there bleeding,” the judge said.
