Tesla Motors’ forthcoming Model X has been spotted taking a highway test drive near Palo Alto, Calif. ahead of the SUV’s release date later this year.
Though signature parts of the trim, lights and brand markings were camouflaged in white, the Model X’s other familiar design elements revealed for the first time in 2012 were unmistakable — as was Tesla’s formidable, noiseless acceleration.
