Former Florida State cornerback P.J. Williams was arrested on Friday morning in Tallahassee.

The 21-year-old Williams was stopped by FSU campus police around 3:00 a.m. on Friday and was arrested after failing a field-sobriety test.

Williams’ arrest comes only three days after his impressing NFL scouts at his pro day workout on Tuesday. His blend of speed and size had NFL draft analysts projecting Williams to be taken in the first-round, but that is highly likely to change considering the league’s newly, rigid stance toward off-field issues.

Authorities would eventually release Williams on $500 bond, late Friday morning.

This is a developing story. Check back for additional updates.
