A randy, 35-year-old Georgia mother has lost custody of all five of her children after she hosted a party for her teenage daughter and the girl’s teen friends which allegedly included alcohol, drugs, naked Twister and sex between the mother and a male teen partygoer.
One of the two teens with whom she had sex was her 16-year-old daughter’s current boyfriend, reports local NBC affiliate WAGT.
The mother is Rachel Lynn Lenhardt.
The scene of the festivities was Lenhardt’s home in Evans, Ga., a pleasant, pricy little town just outside of Augusta.
It was Lenhardt’s Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor who contacted the county sheriff this week about the party, which occurred several weeks ago, police say.
The sponsor found out because Lenhardt spilled her guts when the pair met for coffee (to discuss Lehnardt’s plans to stop drinking).
Prior to the shindig, Lehnardt’s five children — 16, 10, 8, 6 and 4 — were with their father, an Iraq war veteran. (The couple is divorced.)
Her 16-year-old daughter texted Lehnardt on the fateful, soon-to-be-wild night asking to stop by with some friends “to party,” according to a Columbia County Sheriff’s Office incident report obtained by WAGT.
“Come on, let’s party,” was the mom’s reply.
The 16-year-old daughter then arrived with friends in tow. The girl and her friends drank alcohol and smoked marijuana, a police report states.
One thing led to another. The next thing you know, the group was in the living room playing naked Twister — the Milton Bradley game which features a spinner and a large plastic mat with big, colored dots.
Then, the report states, Lehnardt and an unidentified 18-year-old male stole away to a bathroom to have sex.
Next, police say, Lenhardt masturbated on the couch in front of her party guests. After that, the party moved to the hot tub, where Lenhardt partied naked.
Finally, around 3:30 in the morning, after the mother of five was asleep, a male entered her bedroom and proceeded to have sex her. Naturally, police say, she assumed it was the 18-year-old from the bathroom a few hours before.
But, no. Instead, it was her 16-year-old daughter’s boyfriend. (His age remains unspecified.)
As an almost useless aside at this point, Lehnardt has also admitted to showing her 16-year-old daughter photographs of herself having sex with a man, cops say.
The Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor who ratted Lehnardt out said the troubled mother belongs to a sexual addiction support group at a local church.
Apparently, Lenhardt had already lost custody of her five children as a result of an emergency hearing concerning the party before the local sheriff arrested her.
An attorney representing Lenhardt released a statement on Wednesday.
“Mrs. Lehnardt acknowledges that due to recent alcohol abuse she engaged in several acts of inappropriate conduct,” said the attorney, Shawn Hammond. “Although, many of the allegations are exaggerated, she is extremely remorseful for what she allowed to occur in her presence and is obtaining professional and pastoral counseling to ensure that this conduct is never repeated.”
Hammond insisted that “at no time” did his client “sponsor or facilitate a party for underage minors.”
“Mrs. Lehnardt has recommitted herself to her faith and her family,” Hammond said. “She is hopeful that her children, members of her faith and others will learn from her poor example as to just how easy it is for people to exercise such extremely poor judgment while intoxicated.”
Meanwhile, Lenhardt faces two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to Atlanta ABC affiliate WSB-TV. She was released on a bond of $3,200.
