Caleb Bonham, editor-in-chief of Campus Reform, went to the campus of the University of Washington to survey students on which candidate they are leaning towards for the 2016 election.
Many students cited former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. When it came to why they supported the presumptive Democratic Party nominee, the students defaulted to one reason: she’s a woman.
“Because it’s time we have a female president,” one student told Bonham. Another added, “She’s a woman, and that’s literally all.”
