Finally, a story about Muslim fanatics attacking cartoonists that has a happy ending.
Two men who opened fire Sunday outside of an event in Garland, Texas attended by Geert Wilders, a Dutch lawmaker and outspoken critic of radical Islam, have been killed by police…
Sunday’s event was hosted by the American Freedom Defense Initiative, a group led by Islam critic Pamela Geller…
Wilders and Geller presented a $12,500 check to Bosch Fawstin, the winner of the American Freedom Defense Initiative’s first inaugural “Draw the Prophet” contest.
And then a couple of Islamic fanatics art critics tried to kill them. Unlike the Charlie Hebdo massacre, fortunately, these two assholes went to meet their 72 virgins without bringing along any company. Buh-bye.
I hadn’t heard about this event, and I wouldn’t have cared about it one way or the other if those two would-be jihadis hadn’t proven that the attendees are 100% correct. If you offend a Muslim in 2015, you’re fair game.
And our moral, ethical and intellectual betters in the media will justify the attempt on your life:
I need someone to explain to me why someone would organize or attend an event primarily designed to mock Islam, or any religion.

The same reason someone would go to see “Book of Mormon,” Marc. The same reason someone would do this:

The only difference is that in 21st Century America, Mormons and Christians probably won’t try to kill you for it. It’s possible, but unlikely. That’s why you don’t cower to them.
Or how about this gem, from a New York Times reporter:
Free speech aside, why would anyone do something as provocative as hosting a “Muhammad drawing contest”?

Goodbye, “All the news that’s fit to print.” Hello, “Free speech aside.”
If this attitude seems odd to you, you’re not alone:
People making excuses for violent Muslims are the same people who lost their minds over Memories Pizza. How do they not burst into flames?

I don’t understand why they would disrespect people’s religious beliefs. Now cater my wedding or I’ll have the govt seize your property.

Bosch Fawstin gets the last word. Here’s his winning cartoon, and his reaction to the resulting attempt on his life:

They came to kill us and died for it. Justice. #GarlandAttack
