At long last, Washington Nationals right-fielder Bryce Harper is living up to the hype.
The 22-year-old lefty slugger has been in the national spotlight since high school, and though he has produced during 3 seasons in the Bigs, his 18 bombs and .331 average in 2015 have made him a front-runner for NL MVP. So what’s different this year?
We all know baseball is 10-percent physical and 90-percent superstition; could this post-home run handshake celebration with manager Matt Williams be helping Bryce maintain his ridiculous numbers?
I have no idea if the handshake has anything to do with it.
Can’t hurt though, right?
