Greek protesters flooded the streets outside of parliament and threw dozens of petrol bombs at police, who responded by throwing tear gas sending hundreds of people fleeing in central Syntagma Square Wednesday, Reuters reports.
Thousands peacefully walked the streets earlier to protest the new bailout deal that will impose strict sanctions on Greece and its citizens, but which saved them from bankruptcy. The protests later turned violent.
