Hillary Clinton said in an interview out Monday that she has considered her husband as vice president.
“It has crossed my mind,” Clinton told ExtraTV’s Mario Lopez of the prospect of giving former president Bill Clinton a formal role at the White House.
“He would be good, but he’s not eligible,” Clinton explained.
“Under the Constitution, he has served his two terms and I think the argument would be as vice president it would not be possible for him to ever succeed to the position — at least that’s what I’ve been told.”
Clinton was also asked her thoughts about Republican candidate Donald Trump and uber-celebrity Kim Kardashian.
Clinton’s interview with Lopez — who is best known for his role on the TV series “Saved By the Bell” — follows one she conducted last week with daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
