Donald Trump received an explosive question from an audience member about Muslims at a town hall Thursday night in Rochester, New Hampshire.
“We have a problem in this country and it’s called Muslims. We know our current president is one. You know he’s not even an American–” the man asked Trump.
Trump laughs: “We need this question? This first one?”
The man continued, “We have training camps growing where they want to kill us. That’s my question. When can we get rid of them?”
“We’re going to be looking into a lot of different things. A lot of people are saying that and a lot of people are saying a lot of bad things are happening out there. We’ll be looking at that and a lot of other things,” Trump responded.
MSNBC’s Chris Matthews told his “Hardball” panel Thursday night that Trump should have corrected the man and noted the mogul was still “clearly a birther.”
Panelist Ron Reagan pointed to the man at the town hall as an example of the people buying the “b.s.” that Trump is peddling.
“These are some disturbed people who support Donald Trump,” Reagan said.
