Jon Stewart just signed a four-year contract with HBO, the network announced Tuesday.

His new job will include “short-form digital content” where he will talk about “current events through his unique prism,” HBO said in its statement.

Stewart said he was excited to get back to work after his 16-year stint on “The Daily Show” ended in August and Trevor Noah took over.

“I’m so excited to be working with Richard [Plepler], Michael and the entire HBO family,” Stewart said in a statement.

“Appearing on television 22 minutes a night clearly broke me. I’m pretty sure I can produce a few minutes of content every now and again.”
