The movie studio that made Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest movie is clearing up rumors that the actor is raped by a grizzly bear in the film.

In “The Revenant,” DiCaprio plays Hugh Glass, an explorer who is “brutally attacked by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team.”

After the Drudge Report published an article claiming he is raped twice in the film, 20th Century Fox issued a statement Wednesday.

“As anyone who has seen the movie can attest, the bear in the film is a female who attacks Hugh Glass because she feels he might be threatening her cubs,” a spokesperson said. “There is clearly no rape scene with a bear.” (VIDEO: Leonardo DiCaprio Raped By Bear In Gruesome New Movie Scene)
