Team USA wasted no time before scoring an impressive goal against Russia in the World Juniors Championship semifinals Monday afternoon.
Columbus Blue Jackets’ prospect Sonny Milano rushed into the Russian zone weaving past defenders, and he fired a pass to Phoenix Coyotes’ prospect Christian Dvorak with the accuracy of a sniper. (RELATED: Washington Capitals Goalie Preserves Shutout With Incredible Glove Save)
Dvorak fired the puck through a tight window against the Russian goaltender to take a 1-0 lead.
